Description

Dulux AcraTex high performance jointing and coating systems for compressed fibre cement (CFC)sheets.

Substrate Priming

Dulux AcraTex recommends that all CFC sheeting is primed prior to any Dulux AcraTex texture or high build coatings being applied, even though some CFC sheeting may be supplied pre-primed.

Texture Systems

High Build Finish: Use Dulux AcraPrime and coat with AcraShield.
Acrylic Texture Finish: Dulux AcraSand 958 should be applied prior to the selected Dulux AcraTex acrylic texture coat.

Top Coat

All Dulux AcraTex acrylic textures should be over-coated with Dulux AcraTex AcraShield Advance to ensure proper protection of the Dulux AcraTex System.

Scope of Use

Used as an external lining fixed to timber or a metal cavity framing system, in most cases using an expressed joint between the sheets backed with a neoprene weather strip.

Ensure that the CFC sheet is clean, sound, dry and free of any dirt, dust, mould, fungi, grease or any other contaminants.

Any screw or fixing holes should be filled with the filler that has been specified by the CFC sheet manufacturer.
