Mono-pitched roofs are impressive — especially when sun louvres are incorporated into the design, adding even more functionality and distinguishing aesthetics to a home or building.

Louvretec often gets asked if their louvre systems can work with a skillion roof. The answer is yes.

Louvretec offer the following options to complement a skillion/mono-pitch roof:

A motorised sun louvre system that sits in a Louvretec frame with stepped blades (if required). The sun louvre blades can be open or closed, providing privacy and shading
End-fixed sun louvres in a Louvretec frame or frame by others
Bracket-fixed sun louvres that follow the skillion shape to a point
A motorised Opening Roof System (complete with gutter and motorisation) that sits in a specially designed Louvretec frame. Blades are cut to the shape of the roof slope. End users can enjoy the functionality of their opening/closing roof, letting them set the scene as they wish.

A Louvretec frame provides a great structure for stepped louvre blades to be housed in and also allows for motorisation.

Suitable for coastal, inland, snow, residential, commercial installation.
Opening Roofs are generally installed horizontally overhead. Can be installed on an angle. Can be an irregular shape(refer Louvretec design office)and can be motorized or manually adjustable using the Louvretec Spiral Pivot system.
The Spiral pivot system allows for 180° rotation of the louvres.
Louvre/Beam/Post spans, as per tables 1 and 2, section 12 of the Louvretec Product Catalogue, are certified by Markplan Consulting Limited (Consulting Structural Engineers) and meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1170:2011, NZS3604:2011, AS/NZ 1664:1997.
