At a very basic level, just being able to accurately model products within the virtual environment during the design phase enables not only a better understanding of how products and systems will sit together, but also a far deeper ability to identify and correct any potential conflicts long before actual construction, thus preventing costly variations late in the construction programme.

Naturally the file content has to be sufficiently detailed to enable correct application, and DORMA find the 3D format better caters to this. These first rfa files (ZIP, 2.1MB) are representative of the broad product range offered by DORMA and will be joined over the coming months they continue to add content.
