ML5000 Series Cabinet/Locker Locks

There are two variations of the ML5000 to choose from, Digital PIN Keypad or RFID, offering a range of features in both that meet the requirements of lockers in a range of applications.

Both Digital PIN Keypad and RFID variants are available in models that can be easily mounted; vertically or horizontally to suit the locker design.

ASSA ABLOY’s cabinet locks offer safety, security and convenience for locker users and their contents. This was certainly the case for Australia's Fernwood Gymnasiums.

Fernwood had no way of giving access to lockers with the front desk as it wasn't monitored 24 hours. Allocating set lockers wasn’t an option either as the gym had many more members than lockers (all members never attend the gym at the same time so oversubscription isn’t common in this field). As such a solution was urgently required.

The solution was the ML5000 RFID locker lock. As the main entry was on access control, these credentials could be easily used to access lockers. Placing the lock into public mode allowed the lockers to be available to members on a one time use scenario, offering excellent security to the members' belongings, as well as a cost-effective solution to Fernwood.

The ML5000 Series has been developed for the most demanding government, commercial and institutional organisations.
