Beam-to-Post Fixing Solution
Description

The SPAX beam-to-post solution is a bracket-less method of fastening a beam to a post to providing a very strong, but invisible, connection. It is ideal for pergolas and carports and is extremely cost-effective.

This solution is easy to install by first using a SPAX washer head screw to clamp the beam and post tightly together and then installing SPAX cylinder head full thread screws to provide strength to the connection.

Key Features
  • Invisible connection — no brackets required and the cylinder head can be buried below the timber surface
  • High load capacity to resist wind uplift
  • DELTA-SEAL coating for superior corrosion protection and resistance to timber treatments
  • Unique cut point and serrated thread for reduced chance of splitting the timber and reduced screwing-in torque
  • Patented T-STAR plus recess for better torque transfer and reduced chance of stripping the head
Scope of Use

The principal application is for fastening 90mm wide beams, with a height of 90mm to 240mm onto a 90mm x 90mm post on structures such as pergolas and carports.
