Description

Hideaway Compact 2 x 40L Bins are compact in design making the range ideal for areas with limited space. The units are top and/or side mounted and the mounting panel acts as a cover for the bucket/s.

Key Features
  • Metal Gauge — 1.0mm zinc treated steel for strength and powder coated for durability
  • Runners — Soft Close ball bearing runners that over-extend, allowing easy removal of buckets from beneath the bench top and have a dynamic weight loading of 45kgs
  • Colour — Arctic White
  • Bucket — Made from a recyclable, food grade polypropylene plastic. All buckets come complete with a liner holder to hold bag in place
  • Mounting Options — Top mount and / or side mount
  • Air Vents — Patented air vent system to maximise bag volume. 40L models only
  • Handle Pull — Two step action. The unit is top mounted inside the cupboard. The bin is accessible by opening the cupboard door and pulling out the bin using the handle
  • The Hideaway Compact range is not recommended for commercial applications

Scope of Use
  • Recommended use — Largest available double bin solution — 80L
  • Ideal for areas with limited space
  • Width: 418mm, Height: 615mm, Depth: 518mm
  • All measurements given are internal (wall to wall) and are the minimum required to fit each unit
  • Mounting Options — Top mount and / or side mount
Limitations on Use
  • The Hideaway Compact Range is not recommended for commercial applications. Its use in this application will void the warranty
  • Bench Overhang Clearance — The KC240 has been designed with over extension drawer runners which allow for a bench overhang of up to 40mm, allowing the back bucket to come clear independent of the front bucket. If more bench overhang clearance is required, please mount the bin lower in the cabinet.
  • If hinges are used that do not allow the door to clear the opening fully, allow an extra 10mm width
  • Installation also requires that the top door hinge be 150mm from the top of the door to allow clearance for the bin handle
