2018 Colour Trends in Tiles

It’s possible to relate to the extremes in upcoming trending colours. Tile Warehouse have some amazing new ranges due in the 2018 colourways which they are expecting to be immensely popular. From earthy tones and calming spaces to inspiration on walls and vibrancy, 2018 is a mixed bag of stylish tile trends. Think peachy pink, earthy mustards and turmeric tones to peacock green, deep navy and rich crimsons to inspire and invigorate.

Other 2018 Trends:

Metallic tones

Having risen in popularity over the last few years, metallic tones aren't going anywhere in 2018. Invite coppers, brasses, and other characterful metals into interior spaces. They're perfect for creating a splashback in a bathroom or kitchen, or a feature wall in a lounge, bedroom or dining area.

Chevron

Wood effect tiles have been popular for a while now, but the formats in which they are presented continue to change to help keep the look fresh and interesting. Perhaps stepping from the much-loved herringbone pattern, chevron tiles are big in 2018. They're perfect for creating a naturalistic feature wall or statement floor.

Rugging

Appearing more and more, 2018 will see plenty of 'rugging' going on when it comes to tiling. Rugging is a floor tiling trend whereby patterned tiles are surrounded by plainer tiles; creating an interesting block, which could look like a rug. It's a way of 'zoning off' different areas of an open plan floor like the above dining space in Tile Warehouse's 'ARTs Corot'.
