Think Outside the Square: The Versatile Carpet Tile from Heritage Carpets

In retail, or commercial design there is often a need to identify areas without signage, or to highlight a traffic direction or an area of a space. Changing the colour of the floor in specific areas or delineating by laying carpet tiles in strips is a simple and subtle way to achieve this.  Colour and textural variations could also be used to lead visitors to and identify different meeting rooms.

As pictured, carpet tiles can go right up the walls, either for accoustic function, just for fun or as a definite decorative feature.  And while hard floors may be considered low maintenance, a lively, interesting floor can be enough to attract browsers into a retail showroom encouraging interaction as much as the salesperson does.

By using a loose lay or professional double-sided tape installation carpet tiles can also be easily lifted and changed for maintenance or to create a new look between seasons or even between sales.

Carpet tiles are not just common sense logistically and practically, they offer greater creative flexibilty .
