Guidelines for Repair of GIB Plasterboard Linings In Wind or Earthquake Damaged Properties

Following the Christchurch earthquakes, Winstone Wallboards Ltd has compiled a document Guidelines for Repairing GIB® Plasterboard Linings in Wind or Earthquake Damaged Properties.

This technical bulletin provides general guidelines for carrying out remedial work to plasterboard wall and ceiling surfaces following damage sustained after a severe wind or earthquake event.

It covers a comprehensive range of areas; including wall bracing, fire systems, sheet cracks/breakages, fastener pops, etc.
