Monier clay pavers met these requirements. Jasmax landscape designers specified Classic Cream, Lasseter Gold and Chestnut pavers, laid in a pattern that replicates the skin of the native copper skink that resides in the surrounding bush.
Environmental concerns were a key consideration and the skinks played a key role in the development of the school. Several dozen had to be captured prior to construction commencing, and they were then released in area specifically set aside for them once the build was completed.
Clay pavers can be pulled up and reused any number of times, which allows for flexibility of use, and meets the need for sustainability.
Because clay pavers are kiln fired, the natural colours are captured permanently.
