Casali Dermabit Extra allows the use of suspended tiles or timber decking, utilising the pedestal or jacks for the suspension of the upper pedestrian surface.
As a two layer, torch-on waterproofing system Casali is very well suited to construction methodology where the deck can be waterproofed by the first layer. The second layer is applied later when there is less construction foot traffic which minimizes risk of damage to the membrane. This is especially useful in multi-level building projects.
Casali Dermabit Extra contains optimal, polymer bitumen compound which promotes consistent adhesion of the membrane to concrete and plywood timber substrates. The high-gram reinforcement (triple layer) strengthened by glass fibre ensures resistance to mechanical load and provides superior stability and flexibility, and exceptional waterproofing on plywood substrates.
Water is not contaminated by Casali roof and deck membrane systems as it allows for the collection of water for water recycling or supply to drinking water sterilisation systems.
Casali Dermabit Extra is Branz Appraised, BBA (approved British Board of Agreement) and is an Auckland City Council approved deck waterproofing system.
Casali deck and roofing membranes are installed by a nationwide network of approved applicators.
