The Tile Depot was established in 1995 and has since grown into one of the leading importers and retailers of quality tiles in New Zealand.

Selecting and sourcing most of the range directly from manufacturers based in Italy, Spain, Belgium and China, gives better control over availability, quality and price — key factors in providing a happy tiling experience.

To date The Tile Depot's growth and success has come from providing a combination of a very large selection of importer priced tiles, laminate, spc flooring, tools, installation materials and accessories displayed in large showrooms, and supported by knowledgeable staff committed to providing fast, friendly and efficient service. Their showrooms and warehouse now occupy over 9,000m² in 13 locations around the North Island, and, with over 180,000m² worth of stock ready and available, they can help avoid long lead times.

In 2017 The Tile Depot became the first New Zealand Tile business to gain Consumer Trusted Accreditation. The principles of the Consumer Trusted concept is to give consumers peace of mind they are dealing with a market leader that puts the consumer first, something the team strive to achieve and constantly improve on.
