Description

These are available in open-in and open-out formats. Doors are rated to 2.2m high in Extra High wind zones. For larger sizes consider using Metro Series ThermalHEART®. Both open-in and open-out door systems are available with integrated or coupled sidelights and overlights, with or without opening sashes. French doors have flush meeting stiles for a clean look.

Key Features

Door panels lap over frame for superior aesthetics, air tightness, weather tightness, security and thermal performance
Thermal efficiency achieved through thermal breaks in aluminium profiles and controlled air spaces via panel lap
24mm IGU as standard but 32m IGU can be used with a wedged bead — compliance with NZBC clause H1 Energy Efficiency requires high performing Low-E double glazing
Flush meeting stiles give a clean appearance in French doors and provide superior weathering
Three-way adjustable hinges for optimum installation and performance
Recommended maximum door height 2200mm

Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Specification for Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233: Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
Conforms to all relevant NZ Building Code clauses

In-Service History

Redesigned and relaunched in 2022 (previous version 2011)
New range rolling out nationally; previous version in use in residential projects throughout New Zealand by homeowners, builders, Group home builders and specifiers

Other Performance Attributes

Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
