Low E Double and Triple Glazing
Description

The Low E ('Low Emissivity') range of double glazing is a range of glass with high-tech coatings that create the optimum conditions inside.  Various types of Low E glass are available in Plus, Max or Xcel, according to their ability to radiate absorbed energy.

Metro introduced its market leading Low E double glazing range back in 2012 designed to suit New Zealand's diverse climate zones. Continuing to upgrade and develop the range to take advantage of the latest glass technology. Providing a platform to meet the latest NZ Building Code Changes.

It is important when considering window selection to establish the priorities as there are often trade offs that need to be considered before confirming selection, ie Solar control and or noise reduction are also key considerations in addition to the H1 minimum NZ Building Code requirements.
